It's been awhile since I posted. So much for trying to post once a week, Oh, well.

March's box has:

[comfort zone] Active Pureness Fluid -- a lightweight moisturizer, supposedly good for going underneath mattifying powders to create a "smooth, even surface, making it an ideal base for makeup." Ookay.

ARROW-- BOOST Color Enhancing Lip Balm. Supposed to create a "flattering rosy pink hue that's unique to you." (So it's updated Tangee lipstick? And if it's "unique to you" why do we ALL get one?)

blowpro Weather Girl Anti-Frizz Serum. Hair stuff, to cut down on frizz.

ModelCo Metallic Eyeshadow Trio. Metallic sand, mauve and tan! Hey, at least it's shiny.

The Beauty Crop Lighting Crew Highlighting Cream. To make your face glow. (But isn't your face NOT supposed to be shiny? Or only shiny at certain social functions)

Luxie Beauty 213 Shading Rose Gold Brush. For eyeshadows of all kinds! Huzzah! I haven't bought makeup brushes since... um... the heyday of EQ holts.

I just finished using Kiehler's Ultra Facial Cleaner and Clarins Mutli-Purpose Everday BB. And by finished I mean finished. I used them all up. The BB wasn't all that and a bag of chips, but it worked all right as a moisturizer. I really liked the Kiehler's. Now I'm going through my collected (and unused) Birchbox's to find another facial cleanser. If I can't find one, I'm back to Ivory soap.

I thought I was listing April's box. Turns out I wasn't. Oh, well.

comments

This is what January's box has:

Blush Serum -- Sunrise (Beautaniq Beauty)

Brow Liner -- Medium (Eyeko)

In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara (MAC Cosmetics)

New_Age Precision 8-in-1 Power Serum (Marcelle)

Let's Get Naked Frizz Fighter (TLW)

I'll probably use the eyebrow pencil as eyeliner, since my brows are fine. I'm hoping the frizz fighter does work even a little, because I desperately need a hair cut (it's been almost a year) and I'm still unwilling to brave the elements right now. My complexion is a chaotic combination (I have an X zone more than a T-zone) so I'm crossing my fingers for the serum to do double duty as a light moisturizer. I put some on this morning and my skin did not immediately feel like it was on fire -- a good sign.

From previous boxes (I have no idea which ones)

Bright Up Your Life Eye Shadow Trio -- Sugar Plum (Pop_)

Matte Velvet Lipstix -- Satin Rose (Pop_)

If the lipstick lasts half an hour, I'll be surprised.

comments
